My Third Day at JSpiders: Overcoming Fears and Finding Peace

My Third Day at JSpiders: Overcoming Fears and Finding Peace

Today marks my third day at JSpiders in Bangalore, and I couldn't be more relieved and happy with how things have turned out. I started my day feeling excited and a bit anxious, but the events that followed helped me feel much more at ease.

Morning Routine: A Calm Start

I woke up and checked the time, realizing I had almost two hours before class started. I decided to scroll through social media for a little while, allowing myself a few moments to unwind. After that, I went for breakfast, which consisted of dosa with a type of chutney I couldn't quite identify. It was a simple yet satisfying meal.

Once I was done, I got ready for class, making sure I had all the essentials that my instructor had mentioned. With about 20 minutes to spare, I decided to grab a cup of coffee from a nearby stall before heading to JSpiders. I reached the institute a little early, but many students were already there, lining up to scan their attendance.

Class Sessions: SQL and Java

The class began a little late, as our instructor arrived 20-25 minutes behind schedule. The first session was about SQL, where our teacher explained various concepts and gave us a deep dive into the subject. However, the biggest surprise came when he mentioned that he would also take the afternoon session, leaving all of us a bit surprised as we had expected only a morning class.

After the SQL session, we had a Java class. By the time the classes wrapped up, I was feeling both mentally exhausted and eager for a change of pace.

A Call That Changed My Plans

Just as the class was nearing the end, I started receiving calls from my PG owner, who was trying to get in touch with me repeatedly. She asked about the keys I had taken with me and why I hadn't informed her that I was coming back. She also seemed concerned about the new tenants who were interested in viewing my room.

Once class ended, I hurried to my PG to deal with the situation. Upon arrival, the new tenants came to inspect the room. Afterward, my PG owner asked if I would be vacating, and I confirmed that I was planning to move. Surprisingly, he offered me a sharing room option with him, which I agreed to consider.

A PG Hunt: Finding the Right Place

We then set off in his car to check out a few other PGS nearby. After visiting several places, we came across a room I really liked. It had a window that opened up to the roadside, providing fresh air and natural light—something I had been desperately missing at my current PG.

Though I initially had some fears about moving to a new place, I felt relieved when I saw this new PG. The room was spacious, the roommate seemed like a good match, and the food was said to be better than what I was used to. Plus, the rent was very reasonable. All in all, I felt like things were falling into place.

A Sense of Relief and Happiness

The best part of my day came after all the PG hunting. I felt a sense of peace that had been missing for the past week. Despite all the worries and overthinking, today I was able to relax and enjoy myself. I decided to treat myself by going to Domino's and having a pizza. It felt so good to finally spend a little on something indulgent, something I would have avoided in the past.

For the first time since arriving in Bangalore, I felt truly happy. I had a great conversation with a friend, caught up with my family, and just allowed myself to relax without worrying about the future.

Moving Forward: Booking My New PG Room

Tomorrow or by Monday, I plan to officially book the new room and make the move. But for now, I am just thankful for how things have unfolded today. Despite all my nervousness and fears, I have found a place that feels like home, and I know that everything will work out for the best in the coming weeks.

Alhamdulillah, everything is looking up, and I am excited for what the future holds.

Takeaways from Today:

  1. Overcoming Fear: The day was a reminder that no matter how much we worry about the future, things often work out better than expected.
  2. Staying Positive: Even when things seem uncertain, staying positive and taking things one step at a time can lead to pleasant surprises.
  3. Celebrating Small Wins: Whether it's enjoying a good meal or finding a new place to stay, it's important to celebrate the small wins along the way.

Looking forward to the next blog where I’ll share more about my classes and experiences at JSpiders.
