A Productive Sunday in Bangalore: Resume Update, Blog Writing, and Trying New Food for Iftar
Today is the 9th of March, 2025, and it's a Sunday. I woke up at around 4:00 AM. As soon as I woke up, I went downstairs to the dining area, took my tiffin from the fridge, and brought it back to my room. I left it open to let it come to room temperature. After that, I brushed my teeth, freshened up, and had my sehri. Since I was alone and there were no other options, I drank half a liter of milk with two buns. I also ate a few almonds and finished off some leftover pulao from the previous night that I had saved from the PG dining area.
After my meal, I offered Fajr namaz and then went back to sleep, putting my phone on flight mode to avoid any disturbances. Since it was Sunday, I wanted to have a nice, long sleep. I even covered my eyes with a blindfold to make sure I wouldn’t be disturbed. I had hoped to sleep until around 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM, but my eyes opened earlier than expected. It was around 9:00 AM when I woke up feeling refreshed.
Resume Building
I had a long list of tasks to complete on this Sunday, but I was still a bit mentally disturbed from last night, as an acquaintance had ruined my mood. To relax a little, I started scrolling through social media, which unknowingly took up nearly 1.5 to 2 hours. Once I realized the time, I knew I needed to start working, so I got to it.
The first thing I worked on was polishing my resume. I spent around 2-3 hours on that task, making sure everything was up to date and presentable. Once that was done, it was time for Zohar namaz, so I went to the masjid and offered my prayers. Afterward, I resumed working on my blog, which I had been putting off for days. The resume work had taken quite a bit of time, but I finally made progress on the blog for another 2 hours.
By the time I was wrapping up, it was time for Asr namaz, so I took a break and went to the masjid. After Asr, I waited for iftar. For today’s iftar, there was nothing drastically different from usual, but I noticed a few fruits were missing. I had my iftar and then offered Maghrib namaz.
Heading toward the restaurant for dinner, I suddenly had an idea to try something new. Instead of eating at the restaurant, I decided to take a parcel of biryani and save it for sehri. I also picked up an egg on my way back to the PG.

Once I got to my room, I washed my tiffin and filled it with the biryani I had bought. I also took two chapatis, placed them in the tiffin, and stored it in the fridge for later. Since there was a small portion of biryani left, it couldn’t fit in the tiffin, so I ate that leftover portion with the omelette I had made earlier. After dinner, I went downstairs to the dining area, filled my water bottles, and returned to my room.
I then got back to work on the blog. After completing the blog work, I finally sat down to write this entry.
And that’s it for today—another productive Sunday! See you tomorrow!
