My Sunday Routine: March 16, 2025 | A Relaxed Day of Self-Care and Perfume Discovery
Welcome to ThezBlogs.com! Today is Sunday, March 16, 2025. I woke up at 4 AM and went downstairs to the dining area of my PG. From there, I grabbed my tiffin from the refrigerator, brushed my teeth, and got freshened up. I then ate the almonds that I had soaked the previous night. After that, I had my tiffin while receiving a video call from my mother. We chatted, and I continued eating.
After finishing breakfast, I offered my Fajr namaz and then went back to bed. Since it was Sunday, I decided not to set an alarm. I wanted to sleep as long as possible but not too long, as I didn’t want to waste the precious time on a Sunday. Normally, I don't get much self-time, so I calculated that I could sleep for a maximum of 4-5 hours.
I slept, but due to my habit, I woke up every hour, checked the time, and went back to sleep. This went on for about 5 hours until I finally woke up for good. I grabbed my phone and started scrolling through social media. Eventually, I felt sleepy again and dozed off for about an hour. When I woke up, I told myself it was time to stop sleeping, so I stayed up.
I stood up for 10 minutes to shake off the sleepiness and help my mind become more conscious. However, I ended up lying back down in bed and scrolling through social media for another hour. Time seemed to pass by quickly.
I realized it was better to get to work rather than waste more time. So, I began customizing my blog, a task I had been putting off for a while. I wanted to improve the user experience for all of you, so I took my laptop and spent about 2-3 hours editing the site.
After that, I stood up and did a quick 5-minute warm-up since I had been sitting for a long time. Then, my aunt called, and we had a nice chat. Following the call, I scrolled through social media again, did a bit of research, and searched YouTube for recommendations on perfumes.
Around 5:30 PM, I wrapped up my blog editing, logged everything, and went to the masjid. There, I offered Asr namaz and then waited for Iftar. After breaking my fast, I was still a bit hungry, so I went outside the masjid and grabbed a samosa and a few onion pakoras.
After having that, I offered Maghrib namaz and then went to drink badam shake. I had missed it the previous day, so I made sure to drink it this time. Next, I went to buy biryani. The portion size had decreased over time, which was disappointing since I used to get a generous serving. I was hoping for the same quantity, but it wasn't the case anymore.
After coming back to my PG, I set the biryani aside and began scrolling through social media again. I continued my perfume research and finally decided on one. I went to Flipkart to order it and added it to my cart. However, when I tried to place the order, the price was higher than expected due to delivery charges. Moreover, the delivery time was longer than before.
By the time I was checking the details, the perfume went out of stock. I thought to myself that I would try again later. However, when I checked Flipkart again, I saw that the perfume was available once more, and the price had dropped by 50-60 rupees. The delivery time was only 7 minutes as well, so I quickly placed the order and made the payment.
To my surprise, my order was delivered in just 6 minutes! This was the first time I had experienced such fast delivery, and I was amazed. As soon as I placed the order, the tracking started, and I could see in real-time how my parcel was being processed. I even timed myself to make sure I reached the gate at the same time as the delivery rider. The experience was impressive!
When I unboxed the perfume, I was initially disappointed by the fragrance. It wasn't as strong as I had expected. However, I realized that with perfumes, the fragrance tends to develop and enhance over time. After a few minutes, it smelled much better, and I was happy with my purchase.

I am still waiting for one more parcel to be delivered today. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been dispatched yet, and I’m a bit frustrated since it’s an urgent item. It seems like the things I need urgently are taking longer, while the things I can wait for are arriving at lightning speed!
